The International Law of the Sea Summer Academy aims to provide education in the fundamental areas of the law of the sea by bringing together judges from international tribunals, academics, and practitioners specializing in international law.
The Academy is a non-profit initiative that gathers participants from different nations to discuss legal issues arising in the global maritime arena. It also provides the human and informational resources needed to understand political and commercial challenges. The Academy was organised in cooperation with the Centre for International Law at the National University of Singapore and DEKUHAM (Türkiye).
