This action is bringing together researchers and experts from across Europe and beyond to address remaining gaps in the study of Neandertal heritage.
The focus has been on developing a comprehensive, scientifically grounded and geographically inclusive data catalogue, which is now nearing completion.
With enhanced communication between scientists and heritage curators, the action is finalising new research guidelines and strategies for public engagement.
Moreover, efforts to involve non-scientific stakeholders鈥攕uch as museum professionals, the tourism sector, and small and medium-sized enterprises鈥攁re in their concluding phase, ensuring that Neandertal heritage is effectively preserved and promoted in today鈥檚 context.
