The Department of Arts, Open Communities and Adult Education is currently hosting the first cohort of EDUMaH scholarship awardees reading for their Masters' degree in museums and heritage education.
The Department is the degree-awarding partner, representing the University of Malta, in an Erasmus Mundus Joint Masters in Education in Museums and Heritage led by the University of Glasgow with the University of Tartu, Cork and Radbound as partners along with Ibero University (Mexico City) and the European Museum Academy, as summer school coordinating institutions.
This group of nine scholarship awardee students has chosen Malta for their third semester. They are currently following study units offered by the Department and the Department of Conservation and Built Heritage (Faculty for the Built Environment) as local partners on this strand.
This year's cohort includes students from China, Brazil, Italy, Scotland, Philippines, Frances, the United States of America, Serbia and Rumania.
Dr Sandro Debono is the EDUMaH Malta strand coordinator. Applications are now open for the 2025-27 intake.
