One of the 10 graduation ceremonies this November at the University of Malta, which took place on Thursday 14 November at 17:00 within the Sir Temi Zammit Hall at the UM Msida Campus, saw the fresh graduates stand up and engage in dance while they were being entertained by singer Drakard, during the intermission.
The ceremony was celebrating the graduations of students from the Faculty of Economics, Management and Accountancy, the Faculty of Media and Knowledge Sciences, the Faculty of Theology and the Edward de Bono Institute for Creative Thinking.
While Drakard and the School of Performing Arts Band were entertaining the graduates and their guests by singing the song, Sara’ Perche Ti Amo, the singer encouraged them to stand up and contribute to the song … which they did!
Graduates can be seen clapping along, dancing and moving their toga hats around, with some even capturing the moment through their own phones.
