The Sustainability Committee at the University of Malta successfully held the Seminar on Sustainable Engineering 2025 on Wednesday, 9 April, at the Engineering Research and Innovation Labs. The event brought together researchers, academics, and students to explore how engineering is responding to today鈥檚 most pressing sustainability challenges.
The seminar, chaired by , was opened by , Chair of the Faculty Sustainability Committee and , Pro-Rector for Strategic Planning & Sustainability.
They highlighted the Faculty鈥檚 and University's commitment to sustainable development and cross-disciplinary collaboration.

The presentations encouraged engaging discussions around sustainability in healthcare, energy systems, maritime and intelligent diagnostics. Attendees praised the seminar for its multidisciplinary approach and the high calibre of the research presented.
