International MBA participants taking the core study-unit Competitive Strategy with from the , recently participated at an invited guest session delivered by Dr Frank Danesy on strategic management in the space sector, and change in practice.
Faculty at the Mannheim Business School in Germany, Dr Danesy is also Founder and General Manager at INTELSOURCE, and co-Founder of Orbit8. A certified pilot with doctorates in Business Administration as well as Intelligence and Security Studies – besides consulting, his various appointments included that of Head of Business Unit Control within the Directorate of Human Spaceflight & Operations at the European Space Agency (ESA), responsible for astronaut engagement and mission operations among others.
Directed at practicing professionals, the session took place during a recent immersive module on campus – comprising engaging lectures, workshops, discussions and case studies purposely tailored for application and alignment with the working participants’ realities.
