Dr Giselle Spiteri Miggiani from the Department of Translation and Interpreting Studies was invited to deliver intensive translator training at the European Parliament, specifically with the Maltese team in the Directorate-General for Translation. During the sessions, Dr Spiteri Miggiani shared the she developed, along with relevant user-centered research, with the aim to help shape similar guidelines in other contexts. A personally rewarding aspect of the visit was reconnecting with a few alumni now working there.
