Svaradiva is an international student at UM, focusing her studies on Artificial Intelligence.

She’s represented Malta on two memorable occasions:

• The European Summer School on Internet Governance (EuroSSIG) and
• The Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN).

She tells Newspoint she chose Malta as the country to study in because its people are English-speaking and it’s a melting pot of cultures.

On International AI Appreciation Day 2025, she admits she is studying AI because it has permeated every aspect of our lives, and “I want to be the one who writes how AI works, not just be its user”.
