On Thursday 17 July 2025, a five-member delegation from the Shanghai Literature Institute of Traditional Chinese Medicine and the Shanghai Municipal Health Commission visited the University of Malta's Centre for Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). The Chairperson and Pro-Rector, Prof. Joseph Cacciottolo, the TCM Centre Director Prof. Charles Savona Ventura, and the clinical and administrative staff of the TCM Centre welcomed the group while the director provided an overview of the Centre's establishment, along with details about its Master's programs and Clinical components.
The delegation was then guided on a brief tour of the center. They later visited the University's Library where they were guided by the Director of Library 福利在线免费 Kevin J. Ellul and deputy director Ms Josianne Camilleri Vella. The delegation also visited the TCM Clinical 福利在线免费 at Mater Dei Hospital. The visit served to strengthen the present collaborative programmes between the University of Malta and Shanghai University for TCM and to potentially expand these to joint research projects.
