Through the years, Aid to the Church in Need (ACN) Malta has assisted Maltese and Gozitan missionaries abroad, including support for the refurbishment of a Youth Centre run by the Daughters of the Sacred Heart Sisters in Diwa, Bataan, provision of furniture for St Peter Primary School and Orphanage run by the Dominican Sisters of Malta in Pakistan, and support for the training of seminarians of the Diocese of Dumka, India.
It has also organised emergency aid for refugee families in Syria, Iraq and parts of Africa; annual retreats and prayer campaigns such as Lenten and Christmas Campaigns to provide milk, parcels and scholarships for the needy Syrian children.
The Charity's two major biennial reports, both available , also serve to create more awareness of the commitment and projects of ACN Malta.
