The Institute of Anglo-Italian Studies, in collaboration with the Italian Cultural Institute La Valletta, will be organising its 12th International Conference 'Britain and Italy: Literary and Cultural Relations'. The conference will be held on 21 and 22 April 2022 at the University of Malta, Valletta Campus.
In all, 16 papers will be presented by distinguished scholars from Malta and from overseas. The aim of the conference is to present research in the field of Anglo-Italian cultural relations, with special reference to literature, film and the other arts. The range of topics that will be covered is broad, ranging from Alexander Pope鈥檚 vision of Italy to Roberto Calasso鈥檚 essays on books and libraries.
A registration fee of EUR 10 applies. The deadline to register is Thursday 14 April 2022.
