The  intensive course ShakEspeAre-EU in Gdańsk offers an in-depth analysis of Shakespeare's work, with particular emphasis on his impact on contemporary European culture.
  
  
This intensive course focuses on theoretical analysis of texts but also on contemporary interpretative propositions. The programme consists of lectures about Shakespeare – his texts, his times, sources and influences, acting classes, drama-based workshops, theatre and dance improvisation workshops based on Shakespeare and visit in The Gdańsk Shakespeare Theatre.     ShakEspeAre-EU in GdaÅ„sk will be held between 23 and 27 May 2022 at the  University of GdaÅ„sk.

  The programme is carried out in cooperation with Department of Performing Arts (Institute of English and American Studies) and in partnership with local cultural institutions (The Gdańsk Shakespeare Theatre).
