Further to a competitive bid, Malta is proud to host the 2023 ECSITE Conference at between 15 and 17 June, 2022.
ECSITE, a European Network of Science Centres organises its conference every year and since the first conference in The Hague in 1990, the ECSITE Conference has grown to over 1000 international science engagement professionals each year who learn, share, debate and inspire each other. Historically the ECSITE Conference has welcomed each year Science Professionals from around 50 different countries across the world, delivered more than 85 sessions and thought provoking key notes.
ECSITE welcomes all professionals, both ECSITE members and non-members, working in and supporting the field of science engagement, to submit proposals for the Conference sessions, Pre-conference Workshops and Showcases for ECSITE 2023, taking place in English. Through ECSITE, members take part in European projects, work together on key topics, share knowledge and make their voices heard. ECSITE is committed to the following global challenges:
- The climate and biodiversity crisis
- Misinformation and trust in science
- 21st century skills
- Inclusion and equity
- Health and wellbeing
Those who feel who can contribute in anyway both as individuals or through their organisation to the global challenges, may submit their proposals, as the call for proposals is now open. Individuals will be assisted through the application process. For more details follow this .
