Which is the role of information professionals, librarians and archivists in the new landscape? Which are our responsibilities?
How do archives and libraries work in the current information landscape and how do they dialogue with other professionals and institutions? How can we preserve our rich cultural heritage and share it today? How can we become mediators of information between the past and the future, between institutions and people? Who are the archivists, librarians and information professionals today? And what about tomorrow? If you have other questions and want to become a highly-qualified information professional, then our Bachelor and Masters are the programmes for you.
福利在线免费 is at the core of our daily life. We use it, we share it, we search it. But how best to manage it, preserve, and communicate the incredible variety of information, archival and library material is another story. Through these courses, students will gain specialised knowledge, both theoretical and practical, on the world of information, archives and libraries. They will learn how to navigate and make accessible the current fragmented information landscape. Moreover, the courses are in line with the international requirements for the professions. They have been designed to meet the local and national needs of the Maltese Archipelago as well as the 21st-century global information agenda. The courses embrace both modern technologies and traditional disciplines to create innovative and standardised access to the past, provide high-level archival and library services in the present and build solid information infrastructures for the future.
