The Department of Maltese is once again offering a course in Maltese language for all University employees, both administrative and academic staff.
This 14-hour course is designed to improve the written and spoken language skills of participants within the context of their work at the University. The course provides training on how to write clearly, economically, and effectively in Maltese, with special reference to formal electronic communication and documentation; practical advice on how to write short reports in Maltese; and information and training on Maltese orthography. Moreover, the course offers opportunities for participants to practise spoken Maltese through presentations on selected topics or simulations of formal meetings on specific subjects
A large number of University employees, both academic and administrative, have applied for this course. To satisfy the high demand, the course will be offered again during this semester.
