Management of Lab Equipment in the Fixed Asset module in AIMS (ZRH-003)

Target Audience: Primarily all currently registered as well as newly assigned Responsible Persons (RP) and Maintenance staff Leaders (MSL) managing the Asset Inventory module for laboratory equipment within their own divisions. All laboratory and technical staff are also invited to attend.

The equipment asset inventory on AIMS is an optimal organizational tool for good management of laboratory assets. This training session will teach you to manage your departments’ assets and keep this database updated in real time as per Standard Operating Procedure ZRH-003.
Course Content
During the session the following topics will be covered:
- whole process in the life cycle of a fixed asset for Lab Equipment from Purchase Requisition till Write Off;
- new Job Sheet procedure;
- explanation of the different fields in the asset inventory module under the responsibilities of RPs and MSLs;
- generating reports and filtering of data for laboratory equipment;
- Time for Q&As
