The course provides participants with essential skills to support individuals experiencing mental health challenges or crises. The course prepares attendees to recognise early signs of mental health problems and respond effectively until professional help is available or the crisis is resolved. Participants will explore key topics, including common mental health issues in Malta, the MHFA Action Plan, and conditions such as depression, anxiety, psychosis, and substance use problems. Upon completion of the course, the participants receive a certificate valid for three years.
