The Faculty for Social Wellbeing has recently launched a publication to commemorate its 10th Anniversary. The publication maps out the setting up of the Faculty and interviews the protagonists who were involved at the time. In the words of the Rector, Prof. Alfred J. Vella;
'It is with pleasure and satisfaction that I look back at the work performed by this Faculty during its first decade of operations. It has indeed worked well as a community of scholars with a common purpose, namely, that of promoting the wellbeing of society through that powerful combination of academic disciplined thinking and method as well as practice.'
The publication includes material by the former Rector Prof. Juanito Camilleri, the former Dean, Prof. Maureen Cole, the current Dean Prof. Andrew Azzoaprdi, a number of former and current Heads of Departments, alumni and other people involved in the setting up of the Faculty.
