The first annual TrainMALTA Networking Event was held on the 25 and 26 April 2016 at the University of Malta Valletta Campus and was open to all University of Malta (UM) faculty and research staff, postgraduate students and other researchers (UM Newspoint).
This networking event brought together scientists from the field of genetics, molecular biology, IT, computer science and bioinformatics from the University of Malta (UM), the University of Cambridge (UCAM), and the Katholieke Universiteit Leuven (KU Leuven), and aimed to identify areas where training in bioinformatics and model systems can aid ongoing research.
During the event our collaborators from UCAM and KU Leuven as well as researchers from UM gave presentations on their ongoing research projects.
