Military Orders: Research Visibility and Collaborative Challenges (max. 20 participants) By Anton Caruana-Galizia, Paula Pinto Costa, and Joana Lencart

This session offers contributors the opportunity to showcase ongoing collaborative projects and the connected research networks. Participants will have the opportunity to discuss their experiences and share knowledge on these initiatives as well as any challenges they face. One avenue of discussion is how these collaborative and /or interdisciplinary initiatives can shape and expand the field. A primary goal of the session is to encourage transregional approaches to the study of military orders. We also aim to stimulate discussion on the public history perspective of this research, with a view to raising the public profile and reputation of the field.
Participants are invited to submit a slide/digital poster per person describing their collaborative projects or experiences in 5 mins. These slides/digital posters will be circulated in advance to facilitate discussion.
