It's been a great start to the Enemed Futsal League for the Team, as they emerged victorious in their first head-to-head match against the Futsal rising talents, the Maltese Under 18.
The game was played on 11 October 2023 at the National Sports School.
Top scorers for the UM team were: Guilherme Fonseca who scored five times, Kaue Meggiato who scored twice, Melvin Borg, who also scored twice, and Zvezdan Vukovic and Steven Camilleri, who scored once each.
This year, the club, which managed to win the Trophy three times so far, is celebrating its 10 YEAR anniversary throughout the season.
Luxol St Andrew's and Swieqi United are the ones to beat as they both also had comfortable victories in their first matches, and have consistently shown great talent in the past few seasons.
