A new wave of graduation ceremonies has commenced on Monday 13 November 2023, with the celebration of the much-awaited Graduation Thanksgiving Mass at 18:30 at the scenic St John’s Co-Cathedral in Valletta.
The President of Malta, H.E. George Vella and his wife, was present for the Mass, as was the University Rector, Prof. Alfred J. Vella together with all Pro-Rectors and the Registrar.
“Congratulations to all the graduates, and I extend my best wishes for success in their respective careers”, said the President of Malta via a social media post.
Relatives of the new graduands immediately took to the UM social media to congratulate their academic successes.
A second Graduation Thanksgiving Mass will take place on Tuesday 14 November 2023 at the same time.
Undergraduate graduation ceremonies will commence on Monday 20 November 2023 and will consist of a total of 11 ceremonies, with the last one taking place on Friday 24 November 2023.

The dates included in this schedule may be subject to change. Changes to schedule may be required due to force majeure. In that case, the Certification and Ceremonies Office will keep graduands, as well as members of staff of the University, informed and will give timely notice of the changes.
A Congregation for the conferment of Honoris Causa Degrees will be held on Friday 17 November 2023 at 16:00 at the church of the University, Valletta.
