Members of the University Engineering Students’ Association (UESA), recently gave a talk to Level 9 and Level 10 students from St Martin’s College, in the hopes of encouraging more of them to take up the Engineering profession.
St Martin’s College alumnus, Mr Matteo Di Luzio captured the students’ attention by sharing his academic journey from sixth form up until his university journey, highlighting that engineering is a very fulfilling career path as engineers have a huge impact on the world.
“Engineers are at the forefront of change, and if you look at how certain innovations have made our world more connected, safe and healthy, engineers had an important role in making that happen”, said Mr Di Luzio.
This was one of a series of talks held at several schools around Malta to share insights about the UM engineering courses.
