The Student Advisory ¸£ÀûÔÚÏßÃâ·Ñ once again organised a meeting for Career Guidance Practitioners, primarily those working in church, private and public schools at a Secondary and Post-Secondary levels across Malta and Gozo on Thursday 3 April 2025.
During the meeting, representatives from the Faculty of Dental Surgery, FEMA, the Faculty of Medicine and Surgery, and the Faculty of Science delivered brief presentations on the undergraduate courses they offer. The aim was to raise awareness of these courses and highlight the various opportunities available at postgraduate level, as well as potential career paths both locally and abroad.
This network enables guidance practitioners from Malta and Gozo to receive updated information directly from representatives of Faculties, Institutes, Colleges, and Schools. They can then pass this information on to prospective and current sixth form students, who represent the future student population of the University of Malta.
Since 2004, the Student Advisory ¸£ÀûÔÚÏßÃâ·Ñ has been hosting these biannual meetings, fostering a national network of Career Guidance Practitioners. These gatherings also serve as an extension of the regular weekly meetings between Student Advisors from the University and and Secondary School Guidance Teachers in all local Secondary and Post Secondary Colleges.
