Dr Anne Marie Thake from the Department of Policy, Politics and Governance within the Faculty of Economics, Management and Accountancy was invited to deliver a lecture in April 2025 at the University of Montana, Missoula, USA.
Her lecture, titled Human Capital: Training and Development in the Public Sector, was addressed to postgraduate students pursuing a master鈥檚 in public administration. The lecture explored strategic approaches to capacity-building in government institutions, with a focus on aligning training programmes with evolving public service demands. It also examined international best practices for workforce development in the public sector.
