The Marine Geology & Seafloor Surveying group at the Department of Geosciences will be hosting three new postdoctoral fellows funded by Marie Sk艂odowska-Curie Actions.
The new projects will cover topics related to submarine groundwater discharge in tropical seas, the hydrogeology of carbonate platforms, and marine geohazards in the central Mediterranean Sea.
The new fellows will join three other postdoctoral researchers who are currently working on their Marie Sk艂odowska-Curie funded projects.
The Marine Geology & Seafloor Surveying group undertakes multidisciplinary studies of seafloor and sub-seafloor environments using advanced mapping and observational techniques. Marie Sk艂odowska-Curie fellowships are highly flexible in terms of research focus and target applicants who have a PhD degree (or at least 4 years of full-time research experience), and who have not lived in Malta for longer than 12 months in the 3 years before the time of application.
Applicants who are interested in carrying out research in marine geosciences via a Marie Sk艂odowska-Curie fellowship should send an email to Prof. Aaron Micallef.
