The Fahrenheit Union of Universities in Gdańsk, consisting of the University of Gdańsk, the Medical University of Gdańsk and Gdańsk University of Technology, in cooperation with the Mayor of Gdańsk has funded three prestigious scientific scholarships, named after Daniel Gabriel Fahrenheit, for the best doctoral students from abroad. Young scientists who are preparing their doctoral thesis at a foreign university, are authors or co-authors of a scientific publication and want to pursue their scientific interests at one of the FarU universities are encouraged to apply.
Applications are accepted until 15 October 2022. The candidates may apply . The candidate for the research scholarship should meet the requirements below:
- Holds citizenship other than Polish,
- Published or co-published a research publication,
- Prepares a doctoral thesis at a University outside Poland,
- Has been granted an invitation/ an agreement to join a research supervisor (an academic teacher) employed at one of the Fahrenheit Universities – the invitation or agreement must be confirmed by the proper Vice-Rector for Research.
