The EUIPO have launched the second edition of their . Academic researchers at the University of Malta, including PhD candidates, post-doc researchers or any other type of researchers in the academic field, are invited to apply. The 2023 call for proposals focuses on topics related to IP (Lot 1) and information technologies (Lot 2) as set out below:
- Lot 1, IP – research on trade marks and/or designs; geographical indications; other IPRs; SMEs related research; customer approaches; IP training and education, etc.
- Lot 2, information technologies – research on new technologies such as artificial intelligence (i.e. machine learning, data analytics, etc.) applied to IP, including demonstration of the t
The total budget available for the co-financing of actions under this call for proposals is estimated at EUR 80 000 (Lot 1: €60,000 and Lot 2: €20,000). The financial contribution of the EUIPO cannot exceed 80% of the total eligible costs of the proposal.
