Professor Maria Attard participated in the . She delivered her presentation on The potential of Volunteered Geographic 福利在线免费 (VGI) on future transport systems.

Professor Maria Attard was invited to give a presentation on The Future Sustainability of Transport in Malta during the seminar organised by the German-Maltese Business Council within the Malta Chamber of Commerce, Enterprise and Industry on sustainable mobility in Malta.

ICCSD submits its feedback to the National Transport Strategy 2050 and the Draft National Transport Master Plan 2025 published by Transport Malta.

A of Research in Transportation Economics entitled Climate Change Targets and Urban Transport Policy edited by Prof. Maria Attard (University of Malta), Dr Lucy Budd (Loughborough University) and Dr Robin Hickman (UCL) is published. This follows the organised by the ICCSD of the University of Malta in April 2015 at the Valletta Campus.

The Institute received funding from the for the project Understanding traffic patterns and travel behavior to support sustainable mobility, led by Prof Maria Attard and Prof Adrian Muscat.

GRISI+ Project Seminar: Attractiveness and GIS

Prof Maria Attard, Director of the Institute for Climate Change and Sustainable Development delivered a presentation entitled "GIS and its use in Malta" at a GRISI+ Seminar organised by the Local Councils Association on Friday 3rd May 2013 at the Corinthia San Gorg Hotel in St Julian's.

GRISI+ is a project co-financed by the European Union through the INTERREG IVC Programme 2007-2013.

D-Air Project - Malta Visit - 20-21 February 2013

The Institute for Climate Change and Sustainable Development was invited by Transport Malta to give presentations during a meeting of D-Air project. This EU project aims at lowering the carbon emissions at airports. This year's meeting in Malta looked at sustainable environmental and transport work, projects and research in Malta. The Green Travel plan of the University contributed to this project by sharing its knowledge and experience.

The meeting was held between the 20 - 21 February 2013 at the Intercontinental Hotel, St. Julians.
