The web team at MCAO continued to maintain the top-level sections of the UM website. The team also assisted the SST and PDE journals by updating the respective websites, as well as other websites, such as that of the UM HelpHub, the University Maritime Platform and the UNESCO Chair at UM. MCAO provided support for the changes required for the CELP website when the Institute was renamed to the Centre for Academic Literacies & English Communication Skills (CALECS), and for the revamp of the Sustainability website. The team also dealt with the creation and population of the ICT Expo website.

A major project was the migration of the Campus 103.7 archive, which meant the branding and proofing of approximately 400 pages located on the old Campus FM website; during October 2024, over a period of 3 weeks, all the radio’s archive webpages were migrated to the content management system T4 using the UM-branded template. The web team at MCAO also initiated the process for a revamped website for Campus 103.7 based on the radio’s unique brand by holding brainstorming sessions, compiling a request for proposals and selecting the supplier who would develop the new website, which would be launched during the academic year 2025-26.

As part of the webpolicies team, the team at MCAO assisted, guided and mentored web administrators, who maintain websites for UM entities, to ensure that good web practices are adopted, brand compliance is adhered to, and that content is up to date.
